The Katholikon of the new Monastery is a domed two-columned cross-in-square Church. It was built in 1897 at the site of the old monastery erected in the 12th century. The miraculous icon of Panagia Faneromeni and a large number of holy relics are kept at the Monastery. The Monastery belongs to the Holy Metropolis of Corinth. Worth visiting also is the Holy Monastery of Hosios (the Blessed) Patapios († 8 Dec.) where His holy relics are kept (31a). The Monasteries are under the jurisdiction of the Holy Metropolis of Corinth.
