What to expect

MOMus-Museum Alex Mylona (Department of Contemporary Sculpture of MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art-Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and State Museum of Contemporary Art collections) promotes sculptural expression, supports the synthesis of sculptural arts and interdisciplinary-hybrid projects, supports young sculptors and showcases and promotes the artistic contribution its founder Alex Mylona through the permanent presentation of her works.

Things to look out for

Situated on the fringe of the Athens Archaeological Park, within the historic Thision area, the museum was founded in 2004 and is housed in a building designed in 1920 by the architect Vasilis Tsagris.
